I’m a first year Master’s degree student in Industrial Engineering, coursing a specialization in automation and robotics at the School of Engineering of Barcelona (ETSEIB, UPC).
I’m very interested in robotics and control theory and have worked as a collaborator and research assistant at the robotics division research group of the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering, where I was able to learn and use the robotics framework of ROS.
I employed ROS to build a simulation environment for the use of the in-house developed BMM robots; KUKA LWR mounted on omnidirectional mobile platforms.
I’ve also expanded my knowledge independently via various pet projects, which include the construction of a differential drive mobile robot powered by a Raspberry Pi SoC running Ubuntu ARM and ROS and a slave Arduino Mega. The webpage you’re currently viewing is also self-hosted on another Raspberry Pi computer.
I enjoy looking up at the night sky with or without my small low power telescope, maybe take a couple of shots, good cinema and taking light hikes around the Collserola mountain range.
